Day 1 – Numbers 23:19
God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? ~ Numbers 23:19
One of God’s most amazing characteristics is revealed to us in Numbers 23:19–He always tells the truth. In the Contemporary English Version the verse reads: God is no mere human! He doesn’t tell lies or change his mind. God always keeps his promises. This is a foundational scripture. It has to be read, re-read, memorized, personalized, and internalized in order to have the intimate relationship God desires to have with each of us through Jesus Christ. There’s some far out stuff in the Bible and because God is the same yesterday, today, and forever He still gives wild instructions to us in this present generation. Anyone who’s not completely convinced that God doesn’t lie will not be able to live the abundant life Christ died to give us.
Why do I make such a bold claim? First, it’s a basic relationship truth. If one party in the relationship has underlying doubt about the other, genuine intimacy will never develop. Unbelief and mistrust put a limit on how far a relationship can advance. Second, we learn in Hebrews 11:6 that without faith it’s impossible to please God and that before we even accept Jesus we have to believe God exists, that we have a need for Him in our lives, and that He’ll respond to our reaching. Third, if we faith to believe the Biblical truth of Hebrews 11:6 enough to initiate a relationship, it’s irrational to cut off anything else contained in the Bible or spoken from the mouth of God. That’s like saying, “God, I want to be in a relationship with you, but...” James 1:6b-8 informs us that the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. Who wants to be in that kind of relationship?

Love Month Challenge February 2013

Zari, I have been seeking God asking Him for what assignment next. Your challenge was the next thing He sent me. You do stretch me and my thinking. I try to verify and not just take your word for it but to think things through myself w/Him. You have constantly pointed us to Him. Thank u so much for today's u tube. I know this one was for me! ~ LM
I love when you put the added information, I write everything down. Lol, I have a total of 120 scriptures written in the last 11 days that you went over. Wow! A lot; and funny thing is I think I am missing some. ~ TRP

Zari, Last week I couldn't muster up any feedback, yesterday and today I can't stop thanking Him for the challenge. I feel God is wanting me to grow and I am either holding myself back or under attack. Either way God is calling me to be victorious!!!! The word he spoke to me today was surrender!!!!.. During the 21 day fast I walked away w/a goal of learning a scripture a week. God sent me you w/a scripture a day !!!! That's multiplying!!!! You spoke today about obedience and God spoke to me about that yesterday an you confirmed it again. I just can praise Him enough for this challenge!!! It is compounding !!! ~ AM

TESTIMONIES FROM WEEK 1: God is a FAITHFUL GOD!
Hope all is going well with you! The ANSWERED prayer report! I had a friend tell me yesterday just like this "Oh I was talking to my husband and we came up with an idea. We're going to give you $200 a month. I'll give it to you tomorrow and after that the 1st of every month."
Me on the other side of the table --mouth wide-open! I had made a statement of faith the night before telling our God that I know He is Jehovah Jireh and I know He'll take care of this bill for me!
I don't know what God's plans were, but for me, you were definitely called for THIS appointed time! To let the world know that a prayer life changes your life! I can't wait to add O Lord, Meet Me in the Morning: Praying the 4th Watch to my library.

God keeps doing the amazing! I was worshiping and magnifying almighty God and the peace of God just manifested right there, and it was like I and other ladies that were in there with me were in the clouds. It was like it got really smoky yet I could see colors even brighter then before. Fun story had to tell you this challenge is so sweet I am learning so much thank for your faithfulness to God and me :) ~ P
