Dad: Do you wanna do this, Z?
Me: Nope ... I'll NEVER do that.
About a year later
Dad: Do you wanna do this, Z?
Another year later (2016)
Dad: You wanna do it now?
Me: Uh, unh ... and quit asking me.
Me: WHAT IN THE #$&* ARE YOU DOING?!
Dad: You wanna do this, Z?
Z: Do I have a choice at this point?
Me: Doing it.
He asks nicely, but it's a setup. If you don't do it, and He needs you to do it, and you've told Him you'll obey anything, you've gotta do it or get spanked.
It is written: For The LORD disciplines those He loves; and He punishes each ones He accepts as His child. ~ Hebrews 12:6
I was scrolling IG the other day and read a post that stated something that sounded great but wasn't actually accurate. You know ... I'm all for flashy sayings, but I've begun to realize that flashy sayings have a tendency of keeping us from God's truth and that leads to bondage. Bondage is a no-no.
Being who I am and doing what I was created to do, I thought over the statement in search of God's mind and heart and what I discerned was contrary to that myth. So let's tear it down.
MYTH: God no longer blesses where you don't belong.
TRUTH: Romans 11:28-32; specifically verses 29 and 32 which state the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable and that God has allowed disobedience so that He can show mercy to all. Exodus 20:6, Deuteronomy 7:9 tells us He blesses and is faithful to 1,000 generations.
First, there may be instances when blessings decrease because of disobedience - which is what staying where you don't belong is - but He doesn't stop blessing you just because you're disobedient. The Word tells and shows us this over and over. What kind of God of Truth would He be if after declaring we're the apple of His eye He then turned around and took blessings away?
Example #1: God wanted a united Israel, but Solomon sinned allowing His nation of wives to lead him into false worship. Solomon wasn't supposed to be where he was - in temples dedicated to pagan gods. However the blessing on David's kingly line remained. It diminished, but was never stopped. Why? Because the gifts and calling are irrevocable.
Example #2: God wanted Jacob in Canaan, the land of his fathers, but instead of going there after leaving Laban, he took a disobedience detour and went to Shechem. Jacob was supposed to be in The Promised Land. He was still blessed; although not as blessed as he would've been had he obeyed God. The gifts and calling are irrevocable.
Example #3: OT Saul disobeyed and didn't kill King Agag and then he offered a sacrifice instead of waiting for Samuel. The Lord had David anointed to be the next king but preserved Saul's life. Look at all the other outgoing kings in the OT who were killed. Saul wasn't where he was supposed to be in reverence to Yahweh as king of God's chosen people - but he was blessed with life for another 13 years. Irrevocable.
Blessings decrease because, upon disobedience (or any sin), we enter into covenant (spiritual contract) with the demonic and all of their covenants give them legal right to kill, steal from and destroy us (John 10:10). So it's NOT that God stops blessing us. What actually happens is the blessings are still released but the demonic gets first dibs because we submitted to them.
An amazing thing about The Father is that when we do covenant with the demonic and they get to hijack our blessings, God stores up restitution in heaven for that moment we confess, repent, renounce and reject. If the sin goes unconfessed into generations and becomes iniquity (a curse), blessings accrue with interest until that family's deliverer steps on the scene. I'm a witness ... and I'm being rewarded!
I bless you in The Name and authority of Yeshua The Messiah, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Holy, holy, holy is The Lord God Almighty, Who was, is and is to come!
That's my favorite psalm, song and sentence of worship these days. I was out walking last night and saying it over and over, lifting up a wave offering and allowing my spirit to freely commune with The Godhead and the revelation began to flow. I'll share more about that another time. 😊
We've had two sessions of this season's breaking generational curses workshop. I've gotten great deliverance both times. I received an email yesterday from Session II that said, they got free from a 30-year issue last week. Praise God!
The firstfruit session is up for downloading if you're interested in this process. The Lord showed me how to make progress in deliverance because those videos on YT of mass deliverance weren't doing anything for me. And if you've been with me any length of time, you know I do NOT stop until I get some answers for my issues - no matter how long it takes; even if I have to stop and focus on other things for a while, I eventually pick up that issue again so I can be free. I'm not a quitter ... I'm a rester. 😂
So, in Session II, I asked what The Lord wanted me to work on and He came back with fear. GULP. I was actually struggling with fear at that moment (been under several weeks of attack; months first and then the focus of the attacks changed in the last few weeks - it's been rough) and how dare He call me on it. Anyhoo, The Spirit said 12, 13, 14, 30th generations and, of course, me, and demanded I deal with it.
SN: Something I've learned about The Father - one of the things - in this season, is that while Holy Spirit is a gentleman and doesn't force, God The Father, The Supreme Ruler and Lawgiver of The Universe, The Righteous Judge, gives commands, demands and judgments without hesitation. So you do it. He knows Who He is and what all He owns and He doesn't have to be pc; He can and does absolutely boss you around. Like a boss. In the past I've said God doesn't force you to act, it's always a choice. Yes, it is your choice to obey, but when He says, "Deal with it," you feel the this-is-not-an-option-or-suggestion anointing and you move. Most of the time.
I addressed the curse of fear and while I did, I admitted that I wasn't even sure I was confessing wholeheartedly because I was currently being threatened on several sides by humans, some hidden, who technically could cause me harm. Well, let me tell you within two days revelation came of who was harassing me behind the scenes, and I started praying for them, of course. The second day I prayed for them, The Lord broke me through with authority, and I'll share more about that another time.
I pray you're getting deep deliverance that's tailored to your family line and not stuck without movement because someone's trying to deliver you from their own experience instead of your trouble areas.
