A Toast

I recently read Revelation 7:10 in the NASB version and had a question. It reads, "... and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, 'Salvation to our GOD who sits on the throne, and to The Lamb.'" I asked Holy Spirit why it was translated 'salvation to' instead of 'from' or 'through.'

I checked some of the other versions. The GNT and ESV both read, "Salvation comes from ..." and the NLT asserts, "Salvation belongs to ..." The SBL Greek New Testament reads, "καὶ κράζουσι φωνῇ μεγάλῃ λέγοντες· Ἡ σωτηρία τῷ θεῷ ἡμῶν τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπὶ τῷ θρόνῳ καὶ τῷ ἀρνίῳ."

The Greek translation is most accurate, of course, and the phrasing 'salvation to' is correct. Worship is what was going on in heaven in this particular record and GOD was being saluted. If you know Spanish or French you're familiar with the terms, "Salud" or "Salut" which roughly mean "to health" and are often spoken before sharing a drink with others [get your mind outta the gutter; it doesn't have to be alcohol].

Picture a scene from a movie when an audience is about to toast a king and they declare that he live long or something about His greatness. That's what was being professed before Yahweh in this instance. He was being toasted or cheered for His awesomeness. I can think of two such scenes immediately. In The Twin Towers (Lord of the Rings 2) they toast Theoden after Gandalf administers deliverance to him, and he's restored to his right mind and throne. Another is in One Night with the King, when the feasting begins that leads to Vashti's banishment. Admantha raises his chalice to Xerses and proclaims, "Great king!"

Does this matter? In the scheme of things probably not. But, I prefer to worship and pray the way I find it laid out in The Holy Scriptures because it's effective. But I also want to understand what that worship and prayer actually mean. I want to refrain from vain repetitions (Matthew 6:7), and one way of doing that is having proper revelation of God's protocols. The Word tells us we perish for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6), but with all of the resources we have at our fingertips (deliverance is right there *snap*) that shouldn't be the case. And I will not be one of those who doesn't take full advantage of everything I can get my hands on to learn more about God and His ways. I don't want to know more about anything else on this earth than about Elohim and His Kingdom

I bless you in the name and authority of Yeshua ha'Mashiach.

Greenleaf Jezebels

Greenleaf on OWN is popular television show. It's been on for at least three seasons that I'm aware of. I was interested because of the hype built up leading to its debut so I watched the first three episodes. It's too much for me. Here's my hmo. Take it or trash it, of course.

And, remember ... men can have the Jezebel spirit, too. But, The Blood of Jesus can break that yoke and deliver from its bondage.

Friday Q & A: Should I Sow During Harvest?

6/17/2016

Comments

QUESTION: During harvest time do people who attend church have to still sow seed? Do you drop seed in harvest time or just seed time? Thanks!

ANSWER: Harvest gets used up or you wouldn't have to work or plant consistently. You must continually sow if you want to continually reap. Also, sowing is worship because God is a giver and if you're trying to move from glory to glory and be changed into the image of Yeshua, you never stop doing the things that God does.

Idle Words

6/12/2016

Words have power. We know this is true because Elohim spoke and created the world and everything in it. He used His hands and His own Breath to form man, but that's because of the relationship aspect involved with humanity -- He was demonstrating He's a hands-on Dad. Because we're created in His image we have the power to speak and create and prophesy things into existence.

In addition to advertising my businesses, I use social media to pray over others. When they post about illnesses, aches and pains it gives me the opportunity to lift them up to The Great Physician. I also use it to release wisdom and truth into the lives of those who are lost; as demonstrated in the image above. This is an example of idle words being spoken.

Idle words are words released from the heart without thought. Matthew 12:36 tells us, "For I say to you that every idle word that people will speak, they will give an answer for it in the Day of Judgment." I say they're released from the heart because we know that from the abundance (the fullness) of the heart the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). Whatever is deep down in us, is what comes out naturally, easily or just rolls off the tongue. Those are idle words if we've not submitted our speech and hearts to the guidelines of Yeshua.

His guidelines are as follows:
"The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences." ~ Proverbs 18:21
"Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good for edification, that it may minister grace unto the hearers." ~ Ephesians 4:29

It's obvious that we need to be intentional with our speech for personal benefit and for that of others. Most of us want life and growth in our lives instead of death and desolation. And most don't want to be judged when we finally make it out of here and are headed to heaven. I mean, seriously ... why fight to thrive in a fallen world only to get to there and have The Lord say, "You did all these things, but THIS is what I have against you (see Revelation 2-3)."

Now let's look at the statement above. In this world where people are constantly getting shot, you definitely do not want to release the invitation for someone to shoot you into the atmosphere. You may argue they didn't mean it, it's just a saying. Well ... your YES is supposed to be YES and your NO, NO. So if you don't mean it, don't say it. Idle words have consequences. If that still doesn't convince you, spend some time meditating on the words your parents spoke over you as you grew up and note how many things you now believe and that have manifested in your life. *mic drop*

We have to realize God tells us things for our protection. Not only do our words create, but we have unseen enemies assigned to monitor our words and grab anything that could be of use to steal from, kill or destroy us. Here's an example from my life. I used to say I wish I'd never met my ex, who is my son's father. And when I was going through deliverance while warring to regain custody of Z in 2011-12, Holy Spirit revealed to me I'd opened the door to the enemy to steal my son every time I said that. Without the father, there'd be no son, so the enemy took that and filed a legal case against me to relieve me of custody of my son. Words matter.

Here's another example from my life. In 2012 or 2013 -- can't remember now, but it's in my book Spiritual Maturity at Any Cost -- I asked The Lord what about my faith displeased Him and He replied, "What are you confessing?" My speech wasn't lining up with Him, His Word or what I really wanted in my life. When I fixed my words, my life really began to change for the better. If you've been releasing idle words or speaking death, there's hope for you. I'm a witness. Let's pray.

Yeshua, forgive me for all the idle and death words I've released over my life and the lives of anyone else. I cover those words in Your Blood which holds the anointing that breaks every yoke. I place those words on your altar so that they may be burned in Your fire. Send an angel with coal to touch my lips and purify my speech. Touch my tongue and loose life-giving words into my soul and spirit. I receive Your forgiveness, purification and cleansing and submit my soul to Holy Spirit for healing. I decree I speak life in all situations and that I'm in health and prospering because my soul has been restored. I declare this by faith in Yeshua's name and seal it with Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Rejection Lie

6/7/2016

Comments

The key to be delivered from rejection is receiving God's perfect love. It casts out fear and rejection is basically fear that you're not acceptable.

You are accepted. You're accepted by GOD, Jesus and Holy Spirit completely. They love you and everything about you. They have always loved you and will always love you. Even before deliverance, They LOVE you.

It's true that our upbringing and experiences affect how we receive and perceive GOD's love, but Jesus' blood can overwrite anything that doesn't align with truth.

Spend some time meditating on The Word and noting the times His love is mentioned. Keep a notebook/journal specifically for mentions of GOD's love so that you can refer to them whenever feelings of rejection creep in. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by The Word so as you speak those verses they will build your faith to be strong enough not to believe the enemies' lies that you're not enough as you are.

PRAYER:
Dad, I know in my mind that You love me and fully accept me. I confess I don't know it in my soul and spirit. I repent of believing the lie that I'm not completely accepted by You. I cover that lie in the Blood of Jesus and cancel it. I release the Fire of God on that lie to burn it up and destroy it so that it falls to the ground and dies, never to be picked up again. Jesus came to destroy the works of darkness and that lie is now destroyed in my life. I love You. Thank You for loving and accepting me. Thank you for healing my soul of every trace of rejection and restoring me so that I can prosper in my relationships and other areas of life. I am accepted because of Christ and I decree that rejection is finished in His mighty name. Amen.

If you haven't taken my spiritual growth course, "Adopted," I highly recommend it. In the course you learn how to commune with GOD consistently and specifically to come to know Him intimately as Father. The course is available for download at Supernatural You.

What others say about ADOPTED:
I just wanted to let you know I am having the most beautiful time of worship, especially after watching Adopted part 2 today. It brought me back to a place of intimacy that I knew with God when I was a single mother, except it is even more meaningful now because I have greater revelation of who He is and I have studied the Word more intensely during the past year...but wow...I really needed this. I love hearing you talk about your experiences with the Father. I don't often hear people talk about Him that way, but you describe Him in the same way that I have come to know Him and I desire to know Him more deeply. I know that beyond anything I do, my mission is to draw people into relationship with the Father...to show them His Love and that it is possible to be intimate with Him and find love, joy, peace, and abundant life...I am so happy to receive deliverance from the cares of this world so I can really get back to enjoying my Father's presence. Thank you for this amazing teaching Zari! ~ R.S.

Whew !! ... I just did Day #1 LESSON of ADOPTED ... this is quite a day. I  identify with this topic. Did not have parents who knew Jesus and did not talk about Him or know how to open up about personal things at all. We were clothed and fed but not really nurtured. Sometimes I can’t feel God’s love = like  the real love of Jesus. Hope to soon!!  ~ S.H.

Hi Zari ... so I have to come back and apologize to you. I said I wasn't an orphan but I had to go back and revisit Day 1. And I am, an orphan adopted by God. I'm on Day 3 and I'm starting my studies on relationships ... to gain understanding why we don't accept the relationship  with God immediately.  I'm learning to change my words. I needed this week away to focus and strengthen my faith the more. I love you and  I'm still pressing forward. ~ S.W.
