I hope you all realize I hear a super hero soundtrack and onomatopoeias (word sounds like zip, bang, zap!) when I say Myth Buster Bustin' Myths. 😆
Ok, so this is one of the many I've seen lately.
MYTH: The devil trembles when the weakest Christian is on their knees.
TRUTH: James 2:19 and Job 1:6, 2:1. From what I can tell satan is prideful to the very end, was even bold enough to tempt Jesus face-to-face, AND thought he had enough leverage to actually make Yeshua betray The Father.
So, let's unpack the myth. It sounds catchy, as most of our Christian cliches do, but it doesn't really make any sense from a Kingdom perspective.
The only verse in The Written Word about demons - demons, not thee demonic prince, satan himself - trembling tells us they do so because they have revelation of the power and immensity of God (James 2:19). If you're a weak Christian, I have to assume you're a baby who's still drinking milk. You getting on your knees is not going to faze any demon. There are people who pastor churches and good-sized flocks who can't get anything done in prayer because they don't believe it and don't understand it.
If you have enough revelation, understanding, wisdom and earned authority to make the demonic 'tremble,' you won't have to waste time going down on your knees. You could just turn your focus to The Word and they'll discern your countenance changing and leave because they know you're about to unleash The Law against them.
The Word is fire, The Sword of The Spirit and a hammer (scepter) and it thrashes demons when it's wielded by someone who has earned authority (Jeremiah 23:29; Ephesians 6:17). Earned authority is like this: You know how some people declare a scripture and it manifests for them quickly every time? That's earned authority. You know how some folks declare a verse and it manifests some times? That's grace for the moment - a special favor or temporary anointing, etc. When The Word is being released against demons, they're trying to get to Southwest.com (wanna get away).
Now back to the big guy. And by big guy I mean little guy because my GOD is so much BIGGER; just differentiating between satan and his minions. In Job he goes before The Lord boldy. The Logos states, he presented himself to El-ohim along with the other created higher ups. We have to remember that God is the Judge of the Universe and has given His Word not to lay hands on satan again until the next big battle. So satan's not trembling going before The Lord. No, he accuses God of sheltering Job. REMEMBER?!? Folks, he goes in talking much smack - NOT trembling. So where in the world do we get the audacity to say, WE, unfortunately more ignorant regarding The Word than we should be, humans make the devil (oooo, oooo, oooo - those are boogey man sounds, btw) tremble. It's silly.
Now ... you may say I'm just being technical, but how many court cases have been made - for good or bad - by a technicality? Many. But more importantly, this is a part of my spiritual DNA. I'm an RG prophet, manifestation teacher. I want (need in my core) for The BoB (Body of Believers) *who are willing* to eat The Truth so we can obey God by taking dominion, being fruitful and multiplying. And as long as we believe wrong things or partial truths about The Word, we will remain powerless. That's not our inheritance.
And, yes, dear ones ... thinking you're making the devil tremble just by praying is a deception that will cause problems. Believing that is why we don't do more than hold prayer meetings in this current generation of The Church. We claim praying's doing our part so we pray but don't work.
God wasn't joking about taking dominion. I don't know about you, but I'm fed up with all of the unrighteousness I have to live under because The Church refuses to get involved. God's not exactly fed up because He'll just wait us out and keep inviting generations to take up their divine mantles and do what The Word instructs. And what I'm doing about it is attempting to train up children of Christ (myself included) so they can return to The Word. We've def departed from it. Let's pray.
Yeshua, The Word Made Flesh, we repent of departing from Your Word and allowing someone else to feed us their canned milk as food. Father, We ask that You ignite the fire that already exists in our spirits because we come from You and You love The Word. Teach us to read it and chew it and savor it, to not stop there, and to do The Word so we're not deceived. We ask this in Jesus' Name and seal it by Holy Spirit. Amen.

I was scrolling IG the other day and read a post that stated something that sounded great but wasn't actually accurate. You know ... I'm all for flashy sayings, but I've begun to realize that flashy sayings have a tendency of keeping us from God's truth and that leads to bondage. Bondage is a no-no.
Being who I am and doing what I was created to do, I thought over the statement in search of God's mind and heart and what I discerned was contrary to that myth. So let's tear it down.
MYTH: God no longer blesses where you don't belong.
TRUTH: Romans 11:28-32; specifically verses 29 and 32 which state the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable and that God has allowed disobedience so that He can show mercy to all. Exodus 20:6, Deuteronomy 7:9 tells us He blesses and is faithful to 1,000 generations.
First, there may be instances when blessings decrease because of disobedience - which is what staying where you don't belong is - but He doesn't stop blessing you just because you're disobedient. The Word tells and shows us this over and over. What kind of God of Truth would He be if after declaring we're the apple of His eye He then turned around and took blessings away?
Example #1: God wanted a united Israel, but Solomon sinned allowing His nation of wives to lead him into false worship. Solomon wasn't supposed to be where he was - in temples dedicated to pagan gods. However the blessing on David's kingly line remained. It diminished, but was never stopped. Why? Because the gifts and calling are irrevocable.
Example #2: God wanted Jacob in Canaan, the land of his fathers, but instead of going there after leaving Laban, he took a disobedience detour and went to Shechem. Jacob was supposed to be in The Promised Land. He was still blessed; although not as blessed as he would've been had he obeyed God. The gifts and calling are irrevocable.
Example #3: OT Saul disobeyed and didn't kill King Agag and then he offered a sacrifice instead of waiting for Samuel. The Lord had David anointed to be the next king but preserved Saul's life. Look at all the other outgoing kings in the OT who were killed. Saul wasn't where he was supposed to be in reverence to Yahweh as king of God's chosen people - but he was blessed with life for another 13 years. Irrevocable.
Blessings decrease because, upon disobedience (or any sin), we enter into covenant (spiritual contract) with the demonic and all of their covenants give them legal right to kill, steal from and destroy us (John 10:10). So it's NOT that God stops blessing us. What actually happens is the blessings are still released but the demonic gets first dibs because we submitted to them.
An amazing thing about The Father is that when we do covenant with the demonic and they get to hijack our blessings, God stores up restitution in heaven for that moment we confess, repent, renounce and reject. If the sin goes unconfessed into generations and becomes iniquity (a curse), blessings accrue with interest until that family's deliverer steps on the scene. I'm a witness ... and I'm being rewarded!
I bless you in The Name and authority of Yeshua The Messiah, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
