I am my Dad's princess. And it's my birthday today, so I'm gonna get spoiled big time!
The enemy is always doing something but we can allow the Lord to use their foolishness for His and our benefit. Watch.
In my book O Lord, Forgive Them: 30 Days of Praying for Your Enemies I prayed that God would give me the ability - activate me - to decree and declare with power. I prayed to be able to speak and have manifestation so that, like the prophet Samuel, my words wouldn't fall to the ground or return void. Two years later God activated me with this power follwing three confirmations. You can learn more in my self-paced course Decreeing & Declaring with Power.
God gives promises, but they have to be contended for. Even those promises/prophesies that require you to speak or ask have a need for action on your part. You will have to work. Learn how here and in Read the Word, Speak the Word by Zari Banks.
This is the first installment of my summer 2014 series “Let’s Be Real Here,” that shines the light of Holy Spirit revelation on relationships and on the dysfunction we love and that our society promotes and profits from. I’m addressing these issues here because I’ve learned quite a bit - and am still learning, of course - about relationships that please Father. There are several behaviors that we exhibit that we assume are godly, but are not. If we want to experience the fullness of abundant life in Christ we must behave as salt and light; we have to stand out and show the world there’s peace and success within committed, loving relationships that allow men to be spiritual leaders of the home and women to come alongside them for the glory of God.
God created everything for a reason. Everything. In Genesis we learn that everything They created was good. If you want to play the game and bring satan up, this isn't the time or place. Everything the Godhead does has divine purpose built into it. They created Adam to enjoy the creations of the world and to fellowship with Them. They created Eve because Adam needed a skin-and-bone companion to enhance his divine purpose.
Before Eve, Adam worked, ate and communed with the Spirit of God. That wasn't enough purpose for this man created in God's imagination and formed with His hand. After Eve, Adam's purpose included procreation, multiplication and exercising dominion in addition to communing with the Spirit of God. Adam and Eve knew what their divine purposes were because they experienced regular communion with Father.
I love having a Father who's all-knowing, all-powerful and all-loving. A Father who told me He'd show me the secrets to success for anything I want to do. I decided I want to help women who look at others and think it can "only to happen to them," break into spiritual and financial wealth. I did this first through spiritual growth books, then through teaching courses and now with a work-at-home business opportunity.
God is a God who loves to bless. In the written Word there are thousands of promises of peace, health, joy, wealth, love and more. They're all waiting for believers in Christ to ask, believe and receive them. O Lord, Bless Me Abundantly: 30 Days of Sowing the Word is to be used as a shepherd's staff that will lead you as you journey down the path of continual blessing and abundant life.
Beginning with O Lord, Hear My Cry: A Book of Psalms Devotional, my books are a testimony of my deliverance from Egypt to warring and entering my personal Promised Land. I lived for years believing that if God wanted me blessed the blessings would fall into my lap. Through a relationship with Holy Spirit, His wisdom has taught me how to effectively ask, seek and knock and have the doors and windows of heaven opened for me.
And [Jesus] took them in his arms and blessed [the children], laying his hands on them. ~ Mark 10:16
There are so many people in the world who despise children. Children are an inheritance from the Lord (Psalm 127:3) and that brings the attention of the enemy. In this portion of Jesus’ history the disciples didn’t feel children were worthy of Jesus’ attention because He had such important work to do every day. But Jesus was always doing the unexpected. He allowed the children to come to Him, He loved on them, and decreed blessings on them.
If we point our children to Jesus and allow them to build individual relationships with Him we won’t lose them to the world. Jesus’ love is too powerful to walk away from permanently. If we foster relationship with Him, His blessing, and understanding, we won’t even have to deal with them walking away for a season. With His vision of success for their lives they won’t leave Him because it can’t be realized without His leading (Proverbs 22:6).
Decree aloud Mark 10:16: Jesus, take my children, biological and spiritual, and all children in the world in your arms and lay your hands on them for blessing.
